I'm still suffering withdrawal symptoms now that Strictly Come Dancing is over. No more snuggling up in the evening to that familiar theme tune and kaleidoscopic title sequence, no more 'SEV-en's from Len Goodman, no more celebrities saying how 'devastating' it will be if they go out, and no more fantastic professional dancers.
If like me, you are a pining Strictly fan, then never fear, for there are still things to cure that itchy dancing bug. You might not get the judges or celebs, but with Burn The Floor you will experience the 'ultimate ballroom sensation'. Sequins, glitter balls, and muscular torsos take to the stage from the 6th of March at London West End's Shaftebury Theatre.
Staring Strictly Come Dancing professionals, Kristina Rihanoff, Robin Windsor, and new girl, Karen Hauer, Burn The Floor is an incredible 'reinvention' of ballroom and Latin dance, and has already thrilled audiences in forty countries. The dancers will perform ten show-stopping international style dances, including ballroom's elegant waltz, foxy foxtrot, and feisty tango, and Latin's bouncy jive, raunchy rumba, and saucy samba.
With tickets costing between £20-£89, the show runs until the 1st of September 2013.
