Have you ever wanted to feel like the Queen? Or just to imagine what it is to live in a marvellous castle? The famous Buckingham Palace opens this summer in London from July 22 to October 1, 2017. This is an opportunity to tour the royal residence and access to the offices and apartments of Her Majesty the Queen. Indeed, Queen Elizabeth II spends the summer in her Scottish castle of Balmoral, which gives tourists the opportunity to enter the residence of the members of the royal family.

The official rooms of Buckingham Palace, which receive state guests at official ceremonies, are richly decorated with the treasures of the royal collection. Visitors can discover the magnificent works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Poussin, Canaletto, sculptures by Canova and Chantrey and exquisite porcelain items from Sèvres. All these masterpieces, as well as some of the finest English and French furniture in the world, adorn these rooms in the heart of the palace.

The annual exhibition is dedicated to the official gifts received by the Queen Over the past 65 years. Presented by such distinguished personalities as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Nelson Mandela and Xi Jinping, the current President of China, these gifts illustrate the craftsmanship of the best artisans in the world. This limited exhibition can only be seen during this summer opening period. The Garden Café will also be opening and offering refreshments.
