Get ready to unleash your inner artist at the "" workshop happening on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, at the Visual Arts Studio in Lakeside Arts, Nottingham. For just £8, which includes all your materials (because who brings their own paintbrushes to a party?), you'll spend a couple of hours delving into the serene and somewhat mystical world of Brush Painting. No prior experience needed—this is perfect for both newbies and seasoned stroke-wielders. The focus of the day? Those delightful Ling-Mao birds, which have been known to pose for artists since, well, forever.

Just a heads-up, though: we need at least 10 bodies to make this shindig happen. So if it's feeling a bit sparse a couple of days beforehand, Lakeside Arts might just decide to pull the plug—kind of like my last attempt at a dinner party when no one showed up.
