recently won the green flag award for its services to the community. Its vast renovation and exceptional

Brunswick park is on the main road, so it's easy access for all residents. The park is huge; spread over two levels of ground and over 5, 000 feet the park is home to a half pipe, basketball courts, tennis courts, climbing frames, and plenty of planted trees.

When you walk through the gates into the park, it's does take your breath away; the sheer expanse of cropped short grass surrounded by trees is an exciting canvas for all. I have taken my nieces and nephews here countless times, for picnics in the summer, and games. We have played frisbee, football, tig, and made up our own games on the grass.

I've seen families do the same, but also couples getting married, and parties, quite literally, in the park.

The park also plays host to a yearly fun fair that takes up most of the grassy area. Rides are provided for all ages, and it's always a fun day/evening out.

Like I said, the park also has an outdoor gym. As the park moves to higher ground, and becomes concrete the gym comes into view.

There are twenty benches dotted around the edge of the park, so you can take a break from exerting yourself, and take a seat. Fortunately the council have placed the benches in places around the park so you can enjoy a panoramic view - or watch your little ones have fun, at all times.
