After the success of the last streetfood market in King's Heath it's hardly a surprise that the next one is hotly anticipated.Waffles are back, (and there are new additions to the menu such as the lemon meringue topping, which uses their home-made lemon curd), stone-baked pizza are confirmed, and the party starters are back: new singers and artists will be carrying a note to ignite the sound of summer.
Having been to the previous streetfood market I urge you to forgo breakfast; there's such a wide range of food on offer that every appetite will be satisfied. Small families, or large groups of friends, too cool for school teens and curious grannies and grandads' can get their teeth (false or not), stuck into a locally-reared piece of meat, or their gnashers round the veggie offerings.
It has become a common trait that 'round two', always manages to 'beat' the original event, so when you rise on Saturday morning and begin to muse on the activities for the day stop thinking because it's a no-brainer. When my Mother and I visited last time we both remarked at how the market seems to appeal to all ages, and how we wished the rest of our family had come along.
