This summer, The Courtauld Gallery will introduce visitors to its collection of prints ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The selection of more than 500 years showcases a variety of printmaking techniques. Some of the renowned pieces are from masters like Andrea Mantegna, Nicolas Béatrizet, Pieter Bruegel, Jacques Callot, Edouard Manet, Lucian Freud and many others. The Courtauld Gallery houses one of the most significant collections of works on paper in Britain, with approximately 7,000 drawings and watercolours and 20,000 prints ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century.
