The Touring Beer Fesitval

During the nineteenth century, Brooklyn saw an influx of German Immigrants , who brought with them, a love of good beer. Dozens of breweries opened up, producing quality crafted beer. In 1976, however, the last brewery closed down due to the competition of bigger companies producing mass volumes on the cheap.
It was in 1984 when Steve Hindy returned from a six-year stay in the Middle East. Eager for a taste of the beer you weren't allowed to drink in Islamic countries, he decided to set up a new brewery. Commissioning fourth-generation German-American brewmaster, William M. Moeller to develop a recipe for Brooklyn Lager, the Brooklyn Brewery was born.
But the beer didn't stay put in their little corner for long, and now appears in twenty-five states and twenty other countries. This year they are going on a world tour for their Brooklyn Brewery Mash, America's biggest traveling food and arts festival. The Mash will arrive in London on the 26th July, and will feature parties, comedy, concerts, pop-up supper clubs, and readings until the 3rd August.
