Britney Spears ' Piece of Me residency ran for a record-breaking four years in Las Vegas – and now fans in Britain are getting the chance to see what American audiences have been raving about. Britney's Piece of Me European tour plays Birmingham's Genting Arena on August 31, 2018. The production has been updated with new remixes, production technology, visuals and setlist modifications to better suit arena shows. The tour marks the Toxic performer's first international concert tour in six years, following the Femme Fatale Tour in 2011.



The show, which closed in Vegas at the end of 2017, was voted the "Best Resident Performer," "Best Production Show," "Best Bachelorette Party" and "Best Bachelor Party" by readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Some of the entertainment industry's biggest names, including Beyoncé, Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Anna Kendrick, Nick Jonas, Miley Cyrus, Kirsten Dunst, Chloë Grace Moretz, Calvin Harris, Sia, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and Steven Tyler, have all attended the Piece of Me gig in Vegas. The residency opened at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, in December 2013. It ran for over 250 shows, generating over $140 million and selling nearly one million tickets.

Britney has sold nearly 150 million records worldwide. In the US alone, she has sold more than 70 million albums, singles and songs. Born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, the singer, became a household name as a teenager when she released her first single …Baby One More Time, a Billboard Hot 100 number one hit that sold more than 20 million copies around the world.



Her musical career boasts dozens of awards and accolades, including six Billboard Music Awards and Billboard's Millennium Award, which recognises outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry, as well as an American Music Award and the 2011 MTV Video Vanguard Award.

She has seen six of her albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and had 22 top 40 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100, four of which went to number one. Britney has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, winning the Best Dance Recording honour in 2005.
