In 2011 the annual British Wildlife Photography competition took place. There were hundreds of fantastic entires, including a jellyfish lurking in Scottish waters and a Norfolk hare enjoying the morning countryside. The unique competition captures animals in their natural surroundings, and highlights issues of conservation.
Now these beautifully captured images are on display at the Horniman Museum until the 24th February 2013 in the Balcony Gallery. The exhibition is free and will be holding a number of related events, including a talks on birds, pine marten, and bats. The events take place between 6.30pm - 8pm at the Gardens Pavilion on 22nd January, 26th of February, and the 13th March respectively. All the talks are free, but you are required to book as space are limited. You can do so by calling 020 8291 8686.
