Brighton Beach is a night which incorporates the best of 60s soul, Motown and indie Britpop in two rooms of pounding music. A monthly event which occurs at four cities nationwide: Leeds, Newcastle, Leicester and Sheffield, it would be stupid to miss. A welcome break I feel from the mundane commercial chart music that's seems all too common in today's clubs.

This club night is tailor made for lovers of sixties style and music but with a modern twist; a great haven amid the mind-numbing likes of Rihanna usually heard on the club scene. Brighton Beach is a night where student style, great music and good drinks equals a good time. Attracting everyone from students and Mod types simply to music lovers all brought together by their love of the sixties, hosted by some fab local resident DJs. Whether you're into The Beatles, Marvin Gaye and The Beach Boys or prefer the more modern take such as Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane or The Libertines; there's something for everyone.
