Close to the Chancery Lane station in London's business district, Bounce is a bar where you can have a drink, eat pizzas, and play ping pong.
It was for the birthday party of one of my friends that I discovered this very original and frankly super nice place. Beyond the concept which I find very clever, the idea of an evening among friends in a place like Bounce was perfect. With a drink in one hand and a table tennis racket in the other, I quickly got into the game.
This is a nice place to celebrate a birthday or host a party in London. The bar serves cocktails or wine of quite good quality. You can also dine here, by ordering boards of cold meats, antipasti or very good pizzas directly at the bar. And as you exchange a few balls around a ping pong table there's festive music.
Please note, there is no table booking possible for groups smaller than 6, but some tables are available for people who do not have a reservation. I advise you to book. You will also have to pay the generous amount of £14.50 for half an hour of play or £28 for an hour. For the price, rackets and balls are available and there are even people who pass between the tables to pick up the balls. The prices for drinks are in line with London prices: £9 for a cocktail and £5 for a glass of wine or a beer. For a pizza or a board of cheese, it will cost between £11 and £16.
