Taking place at Northenden Community Library in Wythenshawe is a monthly book club for anyone who loves a good page-turner. Now is a great chance to join and start taking part in a new activity. If you are a regular reader, this could be the perfect social event for you. True book lovers love a good story but sometimes it's nice to share your thoughts and see what other people have to say. This is what the book club is all about; each month there will be a different text to enjoy and discuss. See if people agree with you over what makes a great story, discuss the character motivations and how an author sets the scene. With a month between each meeting, there is plenty of time to read the latest novel, even for the busiest people. If your new year's resolution is to socialise more or to start a new activity, this could be the perfect event. It is easy to join a group which doesn't meet too often and this is an easy club to fit into a busy schedule.
The club meets at Northenden Community Library, on the first Tuesday of every month. The sessions run from 2pm until 3.30pm. The club is free to attend and everyone is welcome to this friendly group, also no booking is required. Feel free to just come along and see if this is the group for you.
