I've been eating out a lot lately, but instead of finding somewhere in the city, when I visited my nan and she suggested we go for a bite to eat I decided we should try Moseley's much talked-about Bohemian cocktail bar and kitchen (formerly The Junction). You might think it doesn't sound like the best place to take your nan, but Bohemian Cocktail Bar and Kitchen was exactly the place where we found ourselves giggling over stuffed sandwich, copious cups of tea, and sharing a cake. It was wonderful.

Sometimes nans and grandads need to get out of the house, and they don't like to go too far, but once they're out that's it (or at least that's how I think anyway), and you can take them to somewhere decent, but also relatively busy because it's a nice change, and that is exactly what Bohemian is like.

Although it boasts a location where Moseley's cool kids roll, it was very chilled, and more than welcoming for the older generation.

You can buy two sandwiches (or burgers), for £12.00, so it's a great spot for a quick bite that won't break the bank. If you visit after lunch time (11am - 3pm), they have a great tapas menu and an even more enticing cocktail list.
