From a multiple Grammy Award winner to a trio of snooker legends, there is something for everyone as Birmingham music charity B:Music unveils its winter 2024-25 season of shows. Guitarist and composer Pat Metheny, winner of 20 Grammys across 10 different categories, is one of the headline performers at the city's Symphony Hall.
And, over at nearby Birmingham Town Hall, Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor recreate the 1985 World Snooker Final in the company of former player, turned pundit John Virgo. The new season kicks off across the two city venues from the beginning of November through to the end of January next year.

If you love live music there is plenty to choose from. Playing more than a dozen guitars, Pat Metheny offers a huge array of songs from his past as well as recent recordings, Dream Box/MoonDial. Other live musical offerings range from The Bootleg Beatles and folk royalty Kate Rusby to the return of the legendary group The Drifters.
B:Music is also proud to be working with The Amy Winehouse Band, the original musicians who stood alongside Amy on stages all around the world. Led by her long-term Musical Director and bass player Dale Davis, they promise to deliver an unforgettable experience and celebration.

Stand-up stars including Grace Campbell, Rhod Gilbert and Stewart Lee will be bringing their own new shows to the stage, while for one night only five comedians will line up for the price of one in Live at Christmas, featuring the multi award-winning Sara Pascoe together with Lou Sanders, Jamali Maddix, Steen Raskopoulos, and Ivo Graham as host.

The Snowman Film with Live Orchestra, which includes a visit from the Snowman himself! Or join the tea-guzzling tiger in the delightful family show
The Tiger Who Came to Tea, direct from London's West End, which runs in Birmingham from 26 December to 5 January 2025.
For those people looking to learn, B:Music is bringing some world-class speakers with plenty of stories to its stages. Join BBC Gardeners' World presenter and gardening writer, Monty Don, as he shares his passion for gardens and the unique role they play in human inspiration and wellbeing. Or join Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor as they recreate the snooker match that attracted a record-breaking television audience of 18.5 million viewers.

Other highlights of the winter 2024/25 season include a series of classical music concerts and the all-star cast of Austentatious in period costume with live musical accompaniment.
