D&D London stands for Des Gunewardena and David Loewi, the guys behind a restaurant collective in the capital. They own twenty-seven restaurants in London, one of which is the Bluebird Chelsea. Bluebird describes itself as 'A local neighbourhood restaurant on a grand scale in the heart of Chelsea.' Hosting a restaurant, bar, cafe & courtyard, food store, bakery, and wine cellar all on one site, I think that description pretty apt.

Their wine cellar has over seven hundred and fifty wines to choose from, which you can buy not only in the shop or when you order your main meal, but also through a series of regular wine tasting events. Coming up are three such events to tantalise your taste buds on:

Argentinean Malbec Wine Tasting
15th May, 7pm, £20

Sample five Malbec wines, including two from the Lagarde winery and three from Zorzal winery in Argentina. It will be accompanied by a selection of charcuterie, breads, and cheeses.

Californian Dream Wine Tasting
22nd May, 7pm, £20

Showcasing some of the Jackson Family's most renowned wines most renowned wines in California, you can try five wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Merlot from their winery's at Hartfort Court, La Crema, and Atalon.

Laurent Perrier Champagne Tasting
5th June, 7pm, £25

Try four exquisite champagnes from Laurent Perrier. These include NV Laurent Perrier Brut, NV Laurent Perrier Ultra Brut, NV Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle, and NV Laurent Perrier Rose. There will also be an extra surprise to look forward to.
