Blue Lagoon Thai Restaurant

London can transport you to locations all over the world if you let it - and sometimes they can be in the most unexpected places...
Take Kensington High Street for example, it's a long stretch of road, which seems urban at best - but look carefully, as not too far along from Olympia you can fully have yourself transported to the exotic climes of Thailand, simply by entering the
Blue Lagoon ...
Now don't worry, I'm not saying you should go wading in some exotic bog secreted around the corner from Kensington (I don't think there is one to wade in if you wanted to), what I am telling you is to go through a restaurant door to discover some fine, fine food.
Londoners love Thai food, so it is not uncommon to find restaurants scattered around London, but not many are like this one. Here the focus is on
Royal Thai , with ingredients flown in directly from Thailand. Don't let these grand words put you off, as you could quite easily read 'expensive' between the lines - it's not. In fact it's actually quite reasonable.
For lovers of Thai food, your favourites are all here - you have noodles, soups and curries all there to taste, plus speciality dishes like Pad Thai and Tom Kar Kai. Trying different dishes is always my favourite thing to do, but it can be pricey to order seperately, which is why the set menu options are incredibly good value - especially the lunch menu which ways in at less than a tenner.
With cocktails, wines, beers and all manner of soft drinks to accompany your meal, why wouldn't you step into the Blue Lagoon - after all, they only things that will get wet are your taste buds...
