Here's the checklist for an archetypal Christmas scene:

%%A family roasting chestnuts by the fire
Granddad snoring in the armchair
Christmas cracker hats falling over people's eyes
Drunken sing-a-longs to the Christmas CD that's been on continuous loop since morning
Embarrassing festive jumpers knitted by Nan%%

This is a very tacky, very kitsch presentation of Christmas, but hey there's wrong with that? At least Blackshaw Theatre don't think so. And if you share their sentiments and sentimentality, then maybe you should join them for their annual Kitsch Christmas Party , which will be held at the Selkirk Pub in Tooting on the 12th December at 7pm. Tickets are £3 at the door, but if you book in advance, you'll get free sweets. Who doesn't love free sweets?

Blackshaw guarantee 'Granddad drunken-dancing', with a festive disco, live music by The Bandits, comedy by Steve Seller, party games, cocktails, and a visit from Father Christmas.
