Selfridges (where else?) has paid homage to the most fashion forward, contemporary thinkers, designers, and style lovers. Thus it comes as no surprise they are privy to the temporary ciate nails pop up stand. Now you might think, 'oh nails?', but Ciate aren't offering a standard manicure.
Blackboard nails are not just matt but nails you can scribble on, draw on in pastel shades, and makes others envious with because your nail game is so tight.
From April 25, the brand will host the pop-up salon for two weeks to demo the manicure kits. The kits include a matte black base coat, chalk-effect pens, which wash off with water, and a Ciaté Mattnificent top coat to seal the final chalk design.
Now, Selfridges isn't known for being the cheapest or most purse-friendly store in London - quite the opposite in fact. A Ciate manicure will set you back £25. You can just buy the nail varnish instead and forgo the chalky effects, but still show off your matt, chalkboard-like nails.
