Some of the very best musicians, dance acts and comedians from around the world will be taking to the stage in Birmingham over the coming months with news of B;Music's Spring 2025 season. Top performers from all walks of entertainment will be lining up at Birmingham venues, Town Hall and Symphony Hall, over the course of three months from the start of February to the end of April.
The new season kicks off in style with a performance from West End and Broadway star John Barrowman (Feb 4) and a 40th anniversary celebration of Australian TV soap
Neighbours (Feb 3). The varied and exciting programme then continues with live music from the likes of one-time
Neighbours star Jason Donovan, Alison Moyet and Chris de Burgh, celebrating a remarkable 50 years as a recording artist, right through to April with appearances by David Gray, Gregory Porter and Anastacia.
West End and Broadway star John Barrowman starts off the new season
Dazzled by dance? The award-winning Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company presents Art of Andalucia, a stunning new show that places Flamenco dance at the forefront (Town Hall, Feb 7). Or join Birmingham Royal Ballet and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia as they celebrate the ballets of the legendary Frederick Ashton, creator of works such as
The Dream, Enigma Variations and
A Month in the Country (Symphony Hall, Feb 15). Former
Strictly Come Dancing champion and BAFTA winner Giovanni Pernice returns with a brand-new live show,
The Last Dance, while fellow Strictly dancers Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu combine in the new show Reborn.
If you're in need of a laugh, then there is no shortage of comedy A-listers to choose from. Stand-up stars include David O’Doherty (Feb 8), Lou Sanders (Feb 27), Jason Manford (Mar 7) and Jimmy Carr (Mar 15), while Jasper Carrott will be hosting a memorial concert in tribute to former football star Trevor Francis (Mar 27).

The line-up of live music starts at Symphony Hall with Transatlantic Sessions marking 30 years since the original TV series first aired (Feb 6). Across the city centre, An Evening With Mary Chapin Carpenter, Julie Fowlis and Karine Polwart can be seen at Town Hall (Mar 3). Celebrate the music of The Rolling Stones with Leo Green & The Icons Orchestra, along with their incredible singers (Mar 21). And join American jazz musician Gregory Porter and Anastacia at Symphony Hall in April, with Anastacia celebrating 25 years since her debut studio album was released.
There is also plenty in the new Spring season to entertain younger fans. This includes
Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert, giving people the opportunity to relive the series with a live orchestral performance. And other big-screen enjoyment follows with
How to Train Your Dragon: In Concert, presented in HD, with the film score performed live by the famous City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Or why not come to Town Hall to discover who really is
The Smartest Giant in Town, based on the bestselling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
