Expect fireworks when
Billy Idol plays his first UK concert since 2010 at Birmingham's O2 Academy on Bonfire Night, November 5.
The former Punk Rocker, who found fame as Generation X frontman, last played in Britain at Download 2010 where he triumphed in torrential rain.

His 2014 dates also take in London's Eventim Apollo on November 9 and Manchester's O2 Apollo on November 10.
Idol's band includes his long-time lead guitarist Steve Stevens, Stephen McGrath on bass, Billy Morrison on guitar, Eric Eldenius on drums and Paul Trudeau on keyboards.
The shows will come soon after the release of two major new projects for 58-year-old Idol.
On October 7 Billy's much anticipated autobiography,
Dancing With Myself, will hit the shops.

New album: Kings & Queens of the Underground
Then on October 26 Billy's first new album in almost ten years will be released. Produced by Trevor Horn,
Kings & Queens Of The Underground will be released on the singer's own BFI Records.
The first single to be taken from the album is
Can't Break Me Down. The artwork for
Kings & Queens Of The Underground was designed by street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey.

Billy Idol was born William Michael Albert Broad in Stanmore, North London, in 1955. He moved to New York as a child and returned to the UK to affirm himself as a central figure of the British punk movement.
After fronting seminal punk outfit Generation X, who split in 1981, Idol embraced dance and rock, penning anthems including
White Wedding,
Dancing With Myself,
Flesh For Fantasy,
Hot In the City,
Eyes Without A Face,
Rebel Yell and
Cradle of Love.
