It's the big day. You're wearing a beautiful white dress, holding a large bouquet of flowers, and walking down the isle in an inflatable church. Wait, rewind.

Yes, you did read correctly.

To celebrate the year in which same-sex marriage became legal, the Southbank Centre is holding a Big Wedding Weekend on the 30th & 31st August. It is a chance for couples (gay or straight) to renew their vows at the Royal Festival Hall , with music performed on one of the most impressive organs in the world, along with choirs and fanfares.

The Clore Ballroom will be holding a big feast, and out on the Riverside Terrace Nicky Miles hosts a Strictly Come Dancing Wedding with lessons, big bands, and professional demonstrations. There will also be a Wedding Olympics, which includes training in how to throw or catch a bouquet.

Make it an excuse to get into your wedding dress or suit again, and have your wedding photo taken for a second time. And if you had to flip a coin to see who would be your best man, give the runner up a chance to have his turn, and let him give a best man's speech.

The main attraction is the forty-five foot inflatable church, complete with vicar, bridesmaids, mother-in-law, and a unique Festival of Love wedding certificate.
