If you are anything like me, I do love shopping, but jeans' shopping is a whole other kettle of fish. Jeans' shopping means painfully trying on pair after pair, staring at yourself for way too long in the mirror, agonising over every lump and bump and repeatedly saying "does my bum look big in this?" So, next time you pull out a pair of your favourite jeans and find a massive split down the right hand thigh from having worn them nearly every day for 2 years head to Donna Ida .

They have three stores; one is Westfield's shopping centre , one in donna ida&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7FTSF_enGB404GB404&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&sa=N&tab=wl Chelsea and my personal favourite, the one on donna ida&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7FTSF_enGB404GB404&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&sa=N&tab=wl Elizabeth Street near Victoria station and Sloane Square Station.

Finding the right jeans is such an individual process and only one that you can do for yourself but the staff at Donna Ida are so helpful and if you don't want to leave that shop until they have found you the perfect pair of jeans, then you don't have to. They will supply you with endless pairs to try on in styles you may not have thought would suit you, until you find the pair that are right for you.

Their collections include: Stella McCartney, Current/Elliott, J Brand, Genetic Denim, Serfontaine, Paige Premium, MiH Jeans, 7 for all Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, Rich & Skinny, Superfine, Notify, Earnest Sewn, True Religion, Siwy, Goldsign, James Jeans, Nobody Denim, J Brand and Rock & Republic. They don't come particularly cheap… I reckon the lowest price is probably £100 but for the individual service and friendly nature of the shop, it is definitely worth it

I am a massive denim fan and was quite honestly overwhelmed with the choice of denim at the Elizabeth Street boutique. All sorts of colours, sizes, styles and fit, no day can be boring with this much variety. The staff are so helpful and really make the experience personal to you whatever your shape and size. Plus, if you find a pair that are slightly too long or slightly gaping at the back, they offer an alteration service where they can pin them for you there and you can get them delivered to you or pick them up a few days later.

Donna Ida is the idea of lifelong jeans addict Donna Ida Thornton. The Chelsea boutique opened in October 2006 followed by the Westfield's and Belgravia stores later on. They stock sizes from size 23 up to 34 so there really is something for everyone. Plus, if there is something in particular you are looking for, they're always more than happy to order something in for you.

After half hour of jean trying on for me… I settled on these gorgeous Paige jeans, dark blue ankle peg to fit my 5 foot 3".

To find your perfect pair of jeans, you can look online at Donna Ida or go to any of their three stores, addresses here.
