The
Ravensglass & Eskdale Railway is one of the oldest and narrowest gauge lines in England. Ravensglass is the only coastal village in the Lake District National Park, and with scenic views, the train journey through to Dalegarth was one of author, Alfred Wainwright's crossings.
The whole family can escape the city and have a wonderful day out on a traditional steam train. The open carriages brings you closer than ever to the countryside, and you will catch sight of England's highest mountain, Scafell Range in the distance. To make the most of your journey, why not go on one of their special event days, that way you can make the experience even more special, and get discounts.
