Choose a quainter coffee shop over the chain stores
Costa Coffee', 'Cafe Nero', your genuine, cliché coffee shops. All well and good to know you're bound to get your Toffee Creamy Cooler or Cappuccino to go, but aren't these all a bit tedious in quaint Skipton town? Just to the side of the 'High Street' and down 'Otley Road' is Bean Loved.
This little Skipton coffee shop has its positives and negatives; don't they all?
With average and affordable prices comes a slight let down with the portion size. A iced tea being served in a plastic cup and the portion being 0.3 litres; £1.80. Although may I say despite the down grading of a plastic cup, it is extremely refreshing. At just £2.05, a latte can be bought, and although it is up to marks with every other latte, not being served with a saucer almost implies a lack of manners and homely touches.
The interior is much less formal than chain store coffee shops; with pale wooden tables, plywood effects and dining chairs, making up for the lack in formality with comfort. Large, squashy sofas are available for two's, 'Bean Loved' really living up to it's name and leaving you being loved.
When you're sipping your iced tea and catching up over your coffee a quiet relaxed atmosphere is essential right? Well this is just what 'Bean Loved' offers.
With relaxing music and homely touching interior a catch up is made easy over coffee. Although a buzzing of fridges is present; taking away the tranquillity by a fraction. Making up for this is the offering of food. Perhaps your catch up has gone on too long and you're suddenly feeling peckish. How about a toasty, fresh salad or a mozzarella melt? All affordable.
With a cliché of it's own, try out 'Bean Loved' to be loved.
