Take your teddy bears to the park for super fun day out
Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy Beacon Park's Fun Day in the historic city of Lichfield in Staffordshire. Organised by Lichfield District Council, there was no shortage of fun to be had at the annual Fun Day event, which took place on August 8 in the picturesque setting of Beacon Park. Children of all ages were able to take part in a series of games and activities, such as giant snakes and ladders, hula hooping, a barefoot walk, a bouncy castle and carousel, a bungee trampoline, and a mini steam train, while there were also lots of stalls for older visitors to browse.

Children were invited to take along their favourite teddy bears for a special event called the Teddy Games, with activities including Ted on the Head, the Teddy Sprint and Teddy Wanging. Councillor David Leytham, Cabinet Member for Leisure at Lichfield District Council, said: "Lots of children and their families came along to the Fun Day and had fun having a go at the activities on offer. Well done to everyone who competed in the Teddy Races and to all the winners."
