Be in a TV Audience

However excited you might be about the X-Factor final, a night spent in front of the telly is rarely one to remember. But there's as much talent in television as in theatres or comedy clubs, and with free tickets to filming you can make the most of it and enjoy a memorable evening out and see first-hand how your favourite shows are put together.
From chat shows to sitcoms, there are hundreds of programmes in need of laughter and applause. Tickets are almost always free, but big names bring big lists of applicants so the most popular shows often use a ballot system. Unless you're an obsessive Strictly fan spending every waking moment camped out at your computer for a spot, it can be easy to miss the entry periods for these: to avoid disappointment, it's best to subsribe to a newsletter or RSS feed so you're ready to spring as soon as tickets are released.
There are a number of websites dedicated to audience tickets. There's a dedicated BBC ticketing page for many of its best loved shows, including radio favourites like Just a Minute for those who prefer the wireless to the gogglebox. Independent sites like AppluaseStore, TVRecordings.com, SRO Audiences and Lost In TV all manage tickets for a number of different channels. And if simply being in the audience isn't quite enough, BeOnScreen catalogues opportunities to star in everythig from game shows to documentaries.
TV audience tickets offer a night to remember completely free – but make sure you get in early!
