Europe's most gruelling fitness competition will see over two hundred and fifty men and women push themselves to the limit in a stake for a £5000 prize. After making it through the qualifying rounds, the finalists will compete in a battle of endurance at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the Copper Box Arena on the 18th & 19th January. This is
The Battle of London.
The inaugural event began back in 2012, which marked the world's first online qualifiers outside of the CrossFit Open. It included both soloists and teams, but in 2013, they removed the team games to focus on the stellar performance of individuals.
Tickets to the event are £25 for the weekend and are only suitable for 16s and over. There are no allocated seats as it is on a first come, first serve basis. You should therefore arrive early for the best spot. The Copper box will be open to spectators from 8am, with the first male heats starting at 8.30am. Competitions include athletics, weight lifting, and gymnastics, with a masters category for the over 40s. The prize giving will be on Sunday at 6.15pm.
