It is hard to find a good value for money yoga class in London that isn't in a depressing basement gym somewhere so I was delighted when I found .

is an independent yoga studio tucked away next to Battersea Park and housed in a beautiful wooden structure with lots of natural light and a very welcome breeze coming from the many open sky lights. Even though the studio is near to busy roads and the park, the studio itself was completely quiet and peaceful.



As a bit of a yoga novice I joined the Sunday morning community class, run by their newly qualified teachers. Despite my initial hesitation about the class being run by a new teacher it was completely wonderful, a really challenging yoga session that worked everyone in the class, from the beginners in baggy t-shirts to the people decked out head-to-toe in all of the yoga gear you could imagine.

This class also cost only £5 per person so it was a complete bargain.

In addition to yoga, offers mindfulness meditation, pregnancy yoga, Hatha yoga and restorative yoga.

I would strongly recommend taking a look at the community classes if you're interested in finding a nice spot for yoga in South London.
