With 21 museums offering events and exhibitions, Bath's Museum Week offers wonderful opportunities. With everything from an exploration of a Georgian Bath resident's treasure palace to strolling through a Landscape garden, there is masses to do. Most amazing of all, these events only take place in their entirety over a nine day period, so get yourself to Bath!

Museums week 2017 brings together a celebration of everything that Bath and North East Somerset can offer. A massive draw in its own right, Bath's very own Roman Bath's are offering a Mask Making workshop for children, based on some of the masks discovered on the site itself.

This event gives well-deserved insight in to some of Bath's less well-known museums and attractions. Foremost among these is Bath's Postal Museum, which presents an exhibition explaining how the Mail Coach changed the face of the World's postal system. Located beneath Bath's central Post Office, it is a much-missed museum.

One more enticement to the week is Tallulah Swirls, who offers a Shadow Puppet workshop based on the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' celebration. With spaces limited, booking is essential.

This wonderful event offers so many things to do, over a relatively short period. With over 21 venues and as many events, Museum Week Bath really does offer something for everybody.
