Asparagasm Pop Up Vegan Dining @ Brixton Village

Vegans can have a reputation as no-fun, hair-shirt wearing types but
Asparagasm are doing all they can to change this impression by providing wonderful gluten and animal-product free food with an aesthetic of pin up girls, frivolity and innuendo.
It's fine dining though - in a supper-club, pop-up style as Kate Lewis leads with some adventurous menu ideas and interesting ingredients.
From the 4th of July through to Sunday the 13th of July they will be taking over
Vozars in
Brixton Village for lunch and dinner.
The menu will be changing daily but will always be vegan and wheat free and the drinks will include gluten free beer, vegan friendly wine and cocktails of the "good-girl" (non-alcoholic) and "bad boy" (boozy) variety.
Their guest chef for this residency is Frederik Bolin of the Disappearing Dining Club who has worked at Michelin starred restaurants in Stockholm, London and New York.
I've only recently made it down to Brixton Village and it is a little hive of activity with beautifully curated units offering the hip set of South West 2 an array of cuisine options all under one roof.
No meat, no risotto goes their tagline and here you can expect healthy, ethical and interesting food all served with a wink.
