After seeing a Buzzfeed video with tantalising pictures of cheesecake, my brother and I decided to see the shop for ourselves when I was through in Edinburgh visiting. It seemed like a lot of other people had the same idea, because there were very few pieces left and the man behind the counter was saying how busy it had been all day. He was really friendly and explained to us all the different types of cheesecake still available. While the cheesecake is the main draw, there was also a variety of coffees and ice creams available.

We decided to take our cheesecake slices away, as the café is really near the Edinburgh Meadows and today was so sunny. The space was quite small, but it was very nicely decorated and looked very cosy. I ordered a banoffee cheesecake slice and my brother got a piece of the Mars chocolate cheesecake. They were absolutely wonderful. The cheesecake was so creamy and light and the thick, crumbly base was divine.



We really enjoyed our cheesecakes, and I am excited to visit this place again next time I'm in Edinburgh!
