The trek around the UK kicks off at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena and plays Birmingham LG Arena on October 31. It will conclude at the group's hometown Motorpoint Arena on November 2.

October 22: Newcastle Metro Radio Arena; October 23: Manchester Arena; October 25: London Earls Court; October 28: Liverpool Echo Arena; October 29: Cardiff Motorpoint Arena; October 31: Birmingham LG Arena; November 1: Glasgow Hydro; November 2: Sheffield Motorpoint Arena.
The tour will promote the Arctic Monkeys' fifth studio album, AM. Produced by James Ford and Ross Orton, the album features contributions from Josh Homme, Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder-Jones, with one of the tracks, I Wanna Be Yours, featuring the words of punk poet John Cooper Clarke.

The band's previous studio albums are Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009) and Suck It and See (2011). A live album, At the Apollo, was released in 2008. Their first single on the Domino label, I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, released in October 2005, went straight to number one on the UK singles chart.
