Bright, bold and bustling , and open every Saturday, is the weekend destination for many a North London shopper.

You may think you know what to expect, but believe me, Archway market is a level above your expectations. Here you can find French deli cheeses and meat within a couple of paces of authentic Greek souvlaki; the well-stocked Word on the Street bookstall close by vegan cupcakes, and so much more!

The variety of this market is incredible, with new surprises on offer more or less every week. It's not just the variety that will surprise you though - the quality on offer is incredible. Take the Word on the Street bookstall, for example, there are many bookstall s around London, but it is this one that took Timeout's 'Best Bookstall in North London' award - not too shabby...



Of the many things I urge you to look out for - see if you can get hold of a piece of Chez Francis and Sylvie's wasabi cheese - you can tell it's something you need to try just from the name.
