Arcade Coffee and Food may not have a snappy name, but the food absolutely makes up for it.



The cafe is set in Huddersfield's beautiful Victorian shopping mall, the Byram Arcade and makes the most of original features such as the fireplace and the panelling.



There is a wide variety of quality coffee available, all made by well-trained baristas, as well as an all-day brunch menu of delicious favourites, including a full English breakfast, and delicious twists on classic burgers.

Every dietary requirement is catered for including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free.



The staff are friendly, helpful, well trained, and - most importantly - passionate about the coffee and food which they serve. Everything is presented beautifully, and they are always happy to take suggestions.

There is an outside seating area as well as two indoor spaces and the whole cafe is dog-friendly.



On Fridays, the cafe is open late into the evening, serving cocktails (2 for £10!), and cheese and charcuterie platters. These are well-researched and come with a menu detailing the history and tasting notes of the different cheeses and meats on offer.



There are also regular live music events, featuring up-and-coming stars who are a little off the beaten track.

New events and menu items are added regularly, so checking their facebook page for updates is always a good idea.



It isn't the cheapest cafe in Huddersfield, but the quality of the food is unbeatable.

Definitely worth it!
