Arancina, or arancini to use the plural, are wonderful little golden balls of risotto the idea for which originated in Sicily. How can risotto be served in a ball you should be asking now - well they're fried, which is what makes them golden, and usually held together with mozzarella and stuffed with other morsels of deliciousness, which could include anything from porcini to bolognese. Arancina in this instance is also the name of a fantastic little cafe that serves these snacks of gold.

As well as the all important arancini, Arancina also serves Italian style pizza - meaning pizza sold in long flat strips like you'd expect to get from a cafe in Italy, and topped with Italian style toppings. In fact the place is probably best known for its pizzas, which people can't but help notice as they pass the cafe front, because they're all laid out in the front of half an orange Fiat sitting in the window.

The coffees are also served small, potent and Italian style, as are the desserts. The seating area is upstairs - lots of old wooden tables and free wifi. So this is a good place to pop into, take away from, or hang out in.
