Visiting here, I learnt there's more to this restaurant than just an exclusive view. The delicate British style menu features classic dishes such as steak, exotic fish dishes and salads. On arrival, you'll get welcomed and seated on the 31st floor and with some luck, may even get a seat by the glass windows of the restaurant directly overlooking the city skyline.
Menu portion sizes are rather small which is typical for a la carte, but many dishes are recommended along with an additional side. Dishes bought on their own are around £45, with an additional side costing at least £5. For a cheaper alternative, they offer a lunch menu for visits between 12-14:45pm Mon-Fri at a much cheaper price of £32 pp. Post dinner, why not choose to make use of Aqua Shards bar located at the centre of the restaurant? It is a great way to extend your experience or to get a great view of the city. If traditional British cuisine doesn't take your fancy, then the Shard offers 5 other restaurants to choose from with a range of exceptional foods from oriental restaurant Ting to continental selections for breakfast at Lang.
Bookings are only taken online, so visit their website at aquashard.co.uk to secure your booking. With impeccable service and unbeatable views of London, this place is a must visit for a fantastic dining experience.
