Black Country singer-songwriter Dan Whitehouse is teaming up with US musician Max ZT for a very special concert at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on Thursday 25 November 2021.
Dan - who spent the early part of the pandemic in Japan, where he
streamed live concerts as the sun set and produced a new soundtrack for a Charlie Chaplin classic for
Birmingham Comedy Festival - met Max via the international Global Music Match programme, in the spring of 2021.
Hailing from Brooklyn, Max is a hammered dulcimer player who has shared the stage with such luminaries as Pt. Ravi Shankar, Tinariwen, Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Cliff, Bela Fleck, and Snarky Puppy.
Dan and Max's collaboration, Ten Steps, was a FolkRadio Song Of The Day in early November.
The track is taken from a collaborative EP which will be only available at live appearances.
The duo will play solo sets and also together.
is on Thursday 25 November 2021 at The Recital Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, 200 Jennens Road, Birmingham B4 7XR, 7pm. Tickets are £15.
