As a playwright, author, satirist, and political activist, the South African-born Pieter-Dirk Uys, is also a successful character actor. His most well known alter ego is Evita Bezuidenhout, a white South African socialite inspired by Barry Humphries's Dame Edna Everage. But he has plenty more. And it is your chance to see them all at Soho Theatre between the 19th - 27th July.
In an An Audience With Pierter-Dirk Uys, you will be presented with fifteen boxes. Inside each box is a different character full of humorous satirical stories about South Africa's turbulent political history. Each night the audience will decide which box gets opened, and which character Uys will play, meaning no one night will be the same. It's like Theatre on Demand.
Suitable for anyone fourteen or over, tickets are between £15 - £20.
