I love tapas, and I find that the chain restaurants don't really cut it. When a friend of mine suggested that we try Ambiente for a late lunch, I was very keen to try it out.





The tapas dishes themselves are around £4-£5 for most, but you can grab an 'Introduction to Tapas' for £25 (serves two people) - this covers a great variety of the dishes available. Paella is also available, but takes a little longer to prepare.



My favourite was the seafood saganaki: mixed seafood in tomato sauce, topped with feta cheese.





The manner of one of our waiters could have been improved, but the service was generally very efficient and fast. All the dishes were brought to us in waves however, so if you're dining in a bigger group, stick to the sharing platters so you're all eating at the same time, rather than waiting around for everybody's dishes to arrive.
