A Birmingham restaurant is chilling up the night and not just the food for Halloween by adding the master of suspense to the menu.



Annexe , in Corporation Street, Birmingham is hosting a themed night dedicated to Alfred Hitchcock on Friday October 28.

Along with a gourmet dinner, the evening will include Hitch-cocktails and a soundtrack of live vintage jazz.



Diners are also being encouraged to dress to impress at the show night either in character from a Hitchcock film or in 1950's Hollywood glamour.

Mediterranean restaurant Annexe regularly hosts show nights when it projects films on to the wall while visitors are eating their meals. Its menu includes a take on contemporary European cooking.



The restaurant is a cosy, chic retreat in the centre of Birmingham that is fast gaining a reputation in fine dining.

Tickets for the evening including a White Lady cocktail and jazz cost £16 per person with food for dinner charged as an extra. Book a place at the Annexe website .
