If you had three wishes, what would they be?
Aladdin, the Arabian street rat, knows exactly what he wants - the hand of the beautiful Princess Jasmine. But how could a lowly urchin like him ever hope to marry a princess? It would surely take some great and powerful magic...
Enter the Genie of the lamp. When Aladdin finds the dusty old trinket he thinks it is a worthless piece of junk, but a little rub is all it needed to show its true value.
For lots of fun and laughter, go and see one of the up coming
Aladdin pantomimes in London.
The first is at Richmond Theatre, starring Suzanne Shaw as the Genie, Gareth Leighton as Aladdin, and Nickelodeon actor Helena Dowling as Princess Jasmine.
The show is on between the 7th December and 13th January, with
tickets costing £10-£55.
On the 7th January at 7pm, there will be a relaxed performance especially designed for autistic children.
For an even more unique experience, the
Aladdin - A Wish Come True at the O2 Arena has something special to offer: Lily Savage.
At first I thought having Lily Savage in a pantomime a bit bizarre. Pantomime is essentially a form of children's entertainment, and Lily Savage...well...isn't. But then after second thoughts, I realised that, with her cross-dressing career, she's actually perfect for the part of Widow Twankey.
It will be a rare and unique stage appearance but also short, as the show is only on between the 7th December and 5th January. If you want to see what
Whatsonstage is describing it as 'a classy panto', book
tickets costing between £19.50-£49.50.
