A place to relax, play, run, walk the dog, have a picnic, catch up, cycle; more than you can imagine in one area.

Of course, this only happens when the weather is right.

So if it's a sunny day and you just happen to be visiting Skipton, or are a long time resident, then get down to Skipton's largest park and relax and have some fun in the ever so rare Skipton sunshine.

With benches and grass, a woodland inspired walk, two playgrounds and a skate park, there is plenty for the young ones
to do.

What about you adults though? Well maybe you fancy a game of tennis or golf, or a quick swim?

The 'Craven Swimming Baths' is probably the place for you to go, situated at the top of the park, it may be a slight walk to get there, but you're sure to enjoy the activities once you have arrived.

All this scenery and activity seems like a whale of a time, am I right? Well for every good thing, there has to be some bad, just avoid the park at school times; half eight-nine and half three-quarter to four, if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of rowdy school kids.
