The perfect one-stop-shop for vintage-style fashion
Vintage is in, and AIDA, which opened opened on Shoreditch High Street less than a year ago, is the pinnacle of East London vintage chic. Part cafe and part clothing and shoe store, AIDA's unique atmosphere is something along the lines of Urban Outfitters meets vintage clothing store meets Anthropologie meets your cosy neighborhood coffee shop.
AIDA's clothing department consists of two floors, split between women's and men's fashion. The clothes are high-quality and stylish, trendy but with their own unique flavour. Stocked with brands like Wondaland, TBA, Eleven Paris, Farah Vintage, and Knowledge Cotton Apparel, AIDA takes pride in selecting both popular and lesser-known vintage-style brands for a diverse and fun collection of styles. Unfortunately though, the clothes are by no means cheap-- so unless you've got plenty of cash to spare, shopping at AIDA is probably best for special occasions and super sales.
Another fun element to AIDA is their vintage hair and make-up parlour in the back, where customers can pay to get the complete vintage look in the shop. While it's also a bit pricy and won't be for everyone, it makes for a perfect addition for those seeking a one-stop-shop for vintage style.
What makes AIDA totally unique is the charming cafe in the store. It's not often that you can visit a boutique and sip a chai latte while browsing for clothes and footwear, but AIDA's cafe makes it possible to enjoy food, drinks, and snacks while admiring the fashion for sale.
AIDA's priciness is sure to deter some visitors from making a purchase, but it's also a great place to chill out and enjoy some coffee in a trendy atmosphere. But if you're looking for high-quality and trendy vintage-style fashion, AIDA can't be beat.
