Right then, pop Saturday 12 July 2025 in your diary, because St Peter's Church, St Peter's Square, is hosting something called "". You can swing by for a cuppa and some tea from 10:15am, with the main musical event kicking off at 11am for about an hour. The rather excellent news is that it's completely free to wander in, though if you're feeling generous and fancy popping a little something in the donation pot, that would be rather lovely. And good news for everyone, the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Prepare your ears for an hour of rather special music, as the acclaimed pianist Rebeca Omordia brings her 'African Concert Series', which usually hangs out at Wigmore Hall, to our very own Nottingham Chamber Music Festival. She'll be joined by Moussa Dembele, who'll be making all sorts of interesting sounds with the ngoni kora and percussion. Together, they're all set to deliver a programme of classical tunes from West Africa and the African Diaspora. Apparently, The Guardian reckons Rebeca's piano playing is 'wild and shimmering', and Gramophone Magazine found it 'appealing and pioneering'. Sounds like it might just be worth a listen, doesn't it.
