Kids are throwing snowballs, friends are exchanging gifts, families are hanging up stockings. It is Christmas Eve and everyone's jolly. Everyone that is except for Ebenezer Scrooge. He's the man who has everything. Everything but joy in his heart. His nephew wants to invite him round for Christmas lunch, but all Scrooge wants is to be left alone. Unfortunately for him, that's not going to happen. That evening he is visited by old friend, Jacob Marley comes to visit. Only thing is, Marley's dead. You might think one ghost is enough one night, but Marley tells Scrooge he'll be visited by three more. It is an experience that will change his life.

Dickens's classic tale of good will to all men has been given a bold theatrical reimagining by director, Neil Bartlett. A Christmas Carol is coming to the Old Red Lion Theatre with a new slant. With a preview evening on the 10th December, tickets are £10, while performances from 11th December - 3rd are £14 or £12.50 concessions.
