Turn Back The Clock To The Music Of Madonna And Boy George
The 1980s are back with a bang in the form of a new live stage show that pays a colourful tribute to the biggest hits of that decade. 80's Mania has been billed as Europe's official Eighties Reunion concert show and it will be arriving at the Lichfield Garrick theatre in Staffordshire on July 5 as part of a UK tour. 80's Mania features the music of 25 chart-topping pop stars including Duran Duran, Human League, Culture Club, Wham!, Madness, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Cyndi Lauper, Adam Ant, Bananarama, Erasure, Nena, Soft Cell, Toni Basil, Dead or Alive, and Kim Wilde.
The musical magic of the 80s are back live on stage
The foot-stomping show is a celebration of one of music's most influential decades, and boasts more than 35 smash hits including Don't You Want Me Baby, Call Me, Relax, Tainted Love, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Karma Chameleon, Holiday, Kids in America, Stand and Deliver, Venus, Respect, I Think We're Alone Now, Baggy Trousers, Rio and Electric Dreams. And, with an incredible 150 combined costume changes, 80's Mania promises to be bigger than the largest hair the Eighties had to offer. Joining the pop stars of the 1980's on stage will be the New Romantic Band and the energetic 80's Mania dancers, making sure that the show creates the full-on buzz and extravagance that was around at the time. As 80's Radio 1 DJ Mike Read describes the show: "It's like Live Aid meets Top of the Pops."
