This is one for the kids (or big kids) as Legoland is celebrating the 60th Birthday of the Lego brick. Come along to the
Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester and join in the fun.
2018 marks the 60th anniversary of the Lego brick. As a firm favourite with both kids and adults, Lego has been a popular toy for decades and will probably still be entertaining children in another 60 years. It's amazing that it has been around so long and the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester is marking the occasion in style.
Come along and get involved in all the fun
birthday celebrations planned. Children will love the range of activities on offer. They will have the chance to get involved with a competition to build the best and coolest thing you can with only 60 bricks. What weird and wonderful creations will your little one be able to make? There will also be a chance to learn how to create animations using Lego which fans of the
Lego Movie will love and the event will be full of other competitions and prizes. Lego has always been a popular pass time for children as it is a fun way for them to learn, create and build. Legoland is the perfect place for fans of the toy as it is full of fun activities the whole family will love. From films to play areas, there is no chance of getting bored. The centre is designed for children between the ages of 3-10 years.
The birthday celebrations are taking place from
Saturday 10th February until Sunday 25th February, so there is plenty of time to visit and this is the perfect way to keep children entertained in the school holidays.
Legoland is open from 10am until 6pm with the last admission at 5pm each day.
Tickets can be booked online and there are a range of prices. The cheapest price for a trip to Legoland is by purchasing an online saver ticket which costs
£15.50 for adults (aged 18 ) and £11.50 for children (age 3-17). You can also choose from an annual pass starting at prices from £39 or a Combined ticket (which gets you access to Legoland and Seaworld) starting at £16.50.
Come along and celebrate 60 years of the Lego brick, here's hoping it's around for many years to come!
