London at Sunset from Gherkin

This picture shows a partial panoramic view over London at sunset as seen from the 38th floor of the Gherkin (30 St Mary Axe) in the City of London. It is a composite I took walking around the floor taking pictures out of various windows and then stitching them together using PTGui.

But enough of the technicalities, that does not describe what it is like to be looking at the last rays of the sun lighting up Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast, with the Shard on the other side of the river. Sadly, a couple of horrendous new buildings are now blocking part of this view, and therefore the Gherkin itself when now looked at from the outside.
