This summer indulge yourself in some classic outdoor film screenings at the Somerset House, as they return with Film 4 to bring us one those unmissable summer activities. It's one of the highlights of the outdoor film season in London, with twelve nights of cinematic gold, back for the seventh year running.

The big screen is back
London's most beautiful open-air cinema is back from the 16th August with an exciting and eclectic line-up of films. The films include the UK premier of On the Road, in their selection of both new releases and classic '80s films like Pretty in Pink. There is something for everyone from cult classics, to action, to recent releases, all shown under the stars on a giant screen with full surround sound.
The doors to the venue open at 18:30 on event nights, with DJs playing music from 19:30 and movies starting at around 21:15. It's highly recommended to bring a blanket or cushion to rest on and keep warm in, and rugs are available for purchase at the venue. However chairs and portable furniture, including inflatables are strictly prohibited. Visitors are invited to picnic in the courtyard of Somerset House before and during the film, which will certainly combine for a lovely evening.
The film screenings are set to be a series of great nights, certainly better than a trip to the cinema. With
